Unique Problem...check engine light and awd drive condition on

I have just 500 miles on my new RX 350. The check engine light came on along with a messages Trac off...check AWD. I took to Phonka Lexus and the service center log in the vehicle with the conditions shown. By the time the mechanic drove the car in the check engine light had gone out. He checked the codes and found the ones for the engine light and trac, AWD. Removed codes did a monitor check or something. Told me everything was ok...Took vechicle home. Next morning same thing. Check engine light, trac off. Check AWD condition. Took vehicle back to dealer and I'm waiting for results. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Call and ask what were the codes for that caused the Check Engine Light (CEL). Can easily find the definition of the codes here and then you'll know exactly what you're dealing with.
