well.......after all said and done you may end up thanking the guy

Do you want to bring your GS down to my bodyshop and let me take a look at it?
and i guess now we have a fellow cl member who has a body shop.....way cool

The damage appears slight although I won't know until a shop evals it or I rub it out myself to see what's underneath. I'd take Lonely Toothbrush up on his offer but SoCal is a bit out of my area. I'm going to take a chance and try to handle this outside of official police/insurance channels since he asked nice and was upfront with all his info [several items confirmed -- he can't run or hide].

Dam..atleast the guy was cool about it...just get the estimates and have him pay..and make sure that u get some sort of signatures that he agrees to pay for any damage since you are not using any officials like the police and insurance....With some sort of signatures atleast if u ever have to go to court u have proof...I watch People's Court
