What a difference just changing these makes. I went with stock since I wanted to retain oem ride and it’s amazing. You see the old ones were flat which allows play in the rack. So solid now steering feels like it’s on power mode.

The rack bushings are definitely worth it! I replaced mine on my SC300 and it helped a lot. Where did you get your bushings?

discountpartsmonster.com. I went with OEM and I’m glad I did.

Worth every penny. I recently replaced my rack bushings and sway bar bushings with the Daizen kit and the response is night and day.

i can only imagine with Daizen. It already feels like a bmw to me now. I just didn’t want to risk any added vibrations since I’m in NYC I need all
the oem smoothness I can get!

What were the part numbers at RA. If not for RA this project would be dead! Love Rock Auto.

get OEM it’s better unless you already have poly bushings elsewhere. I’ve had bad luck with rock auto. They sent me a clearly used and stripped Denso oxygen sensor. You would think they at least LOOK at the products before they send it out. I don’t trust them like that. I get oem parts from discount parts monster. They seem to have the lowest prices anywhere for oem parts

Thanks for sharing discountpartsmonster, I'll have to give them a try for heavy items. I use PartSouq out of Dubai, UAE for everything else. You can't really beat their price for OEM, unless it's a heavy item. You can get oem sway bar bushings for a GS from PartSouq for $16 cheaper including shipping than discountpartsmonster, which is the cheapest U.S. seller I've seen. Some parts are ridiculously cheaper from PartSouq. I have a pair of oem inner tie rods for my GX arriving tomorrow and I paid $190 for the pair shipped. Cheapest I found in the U.S. was $160 each + shipping. Just thought I'd share with you guys cause while I'm sure a bunch of you already know about them, some don't.
