HVAC only on max or min temp
Hi all,
A bit of a weird one that reared its head on my 2003 GS430. My HVAC only blows red hot, or cold. Like at 16° showing on the display, it's very cold and on 16.5°+ it seems to be easily on max (like 30°C+)
It's a very odd one. It just started yesterday and the car has been parked up for a few weeks with no work recently carried out
At this point I'm guessing it's a mixture flap/servo motor related thing but has anyone had this exact issue before? Any advice very welcome.

Awesome, thank you for the insight, I will take a look. Could well be filthy or maybe the vac line has fallen off or something. Is there just the one cabin temp sensor?

Seems like it uses a laser or something to measure the separate zones but this is the only one that ever gets mentioned for issues.

Seems like it uses a laser or something to measure the separate zones but this is the only one that ever gets mentioned for issues.
