Wanted to let people know that I found a good source for a replacement armrest for the 2nd Gen GS. These things take a beating over the years and if yours looks anything like mine did, this may help you. A company named Dorman makes a replacement leather console/armrest cover for the GS. I found mine on Amazon for $69. To me this was a much better option than buying a skin and going through all the hassle of installing that and less expensive than taking it to an auto upholstery shop. Dorman item #924-546 is Ivory and #924-457 is Gray and #924-458 is black. Here are before and after pics of mine. It matches great and was a breeze to install.

Holy ****! This is probably the best post of the year. My armrest is in pretty good shape still but I'm going to buy one anyways before they discontinue it.
