1999 gs300 high inconsistent idle
So i recently replaced the TPS and PPS sensor on my GS because i was getting no pedal response and after replacing the PPS sensor my idle started shooting up to 3k on some startups and sometimes would surge back and fourth between 2k-3k. does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
Also if it helps at all the codes showing up are p0120, p1120, p1121

Did you clean the throttle out while working on it? You need to have the blade and the inside clean and free of carbon build up and reset the computer to start fresh. Reset by the battery disconnect method. Disconnect the battery positive and negative and use a screwdriver or something to connect across the cables and it will fully drain power from the ecu. Holding together for a good 30 plus seconds usually works. This will reset it. But you must have the throttle cleaned out good or it wont idle right and throw codes.
