i have to replace both axles on my GS300 and I was only able to found the left side axle. So my question is, what is the difference between leftside and rightside axles ? Can they be swapped or are there some differences ?

 

They're not the same. One is longer than the other.

 

They are both available on RockAuto as I see it.

 

Is RockAuto legit? I heard mixed rewievs

 

Yes. You give them the money, they send you the parts.

Are you going to do them yourself? My right one is bad and was debating whether or not it was worth doing myself or just paying to have it done.

 

I have already done it, trust me it sounds way more difficult than it really is. I had to change both sides and it took me about 45 minutes a side. Note that you need quiete a lot of tools and lift is your friend in this case, but it is doable without lift.
