Helloo anybody reading, I have an error code on my 99 2nd Gen GS400. The code is P0446. I have a few questions I'm hoping a few of you can answer for me as I have a feeling its not JUST the EVAP system that's gone wrong but then again I'm not sure what could be wrong. which is my I'm here.
These are a few side effects that I'm not 100% sure are related to the P0446 code
1. My car has a lot of white smoke that comes out of the exhaust when starting/also when stepping on gas.
2. It has a pretty idle. the more I step on the gas the harder the car vibrates(seems to come from engine bay)
3. The only code that pops up is the P0446 twice.
the only thing I have checked is the gas cap and that is completely fine. I'd appreciate any help. I'm just trying to narrow down my problem.
Some codes take longer than others to set. I'm sure if you keep driving it others will show up, but it sound's like the head gasket is blown. White smoke, idling poor, likely heavy misfires being what you feel accelerating.
