Default Aristo (2jzgte) cooling fan in GS300

I have a 99 gs300 project that was wrecked in the front end, I ended up buying a jdm front cut and in the process of reassembly I’ve got to the radiator/fan assembly. 2/3 of the plugs look like they match but the one has a different connector and two extra small wires. I’ve done a ton of searching and the only thing I can find is a link to a Russian forum that google translate absolutely butchers and it’s not much help. Can anyone explain how to make this work? I’m not exactly great at using/reading wiring diagrams so if there’s a simple way to explain what to do with what wires I’d be very appreciative.

Default no go

the aristo cooling fan assembly works differently than the gs300 or gs430 setup. the aristo ecu in japan uses pulse width modulation to change the speeds of the cooling fans. therefore they are completely controlled by the ecm. in our gs platform, the cooling system is operated by a temp switch in the bottom of the radiator. the low fans come on at a certain temp, than the high speed fans come on at another temp. those two small wires your looking at are more than likely two pulse width modulation wires that would connect to the aristo ecu. it would be so much easier for you if you just get the gs300 cooling fan assembly from a salvage yard and call it a day. seriously.

I just removed those modules from the aristo fans and used the wiring from my old wrecked ones 👍🏻

No cutting is necessary. You remove the PWM components and the fans plug into the factory GS harness just fine and operate like the stock fans off the temp sensor in tbe radiator.
