Throttle cable question
Not the end of the world, but I'd want it covered up. A piece of vacuum hose (or similar) with a slightly larger inside diameter (ID) would protect it. Doesn't need to be tight, so slice the tube lengthwise and slip it over. If it is loose, a bit of electrical tape on either end will hold it in place.
Very common, nothing to worry about. But cover it if you'd like. Just don't hinder it's movement through whatever sleeve you make for it. Could get a stuck throttle and a runaway car if you gas it and it gets stuck.
