Navigation Disk NOT Ejecting
Hey guys,
So I have an OEM navigation disk I am trying to install in my gs300.
However the current disk that is in there is not ejecting.
I have only tried getting to it in the trunk and sliding the open tab to the right and unfortunately no luck.
The disk could very well be jammed.
Any other tips on ejecting the disk that's currently in there?
Just some background info.....
I purchased the car like this, and the maps/ destination screen in the nav has been giving me the "Please wait while system is updating" display. Meaning I may not have any option of ejecting the disk from the maps display (because they are not displaying).
Thanks for reading

Assuming the US units are the same as the UK units you can only get the disc out if you undo the two bolts holding the unit in place and lift the front edge up. If you still can't get it out I'd try leaving the unit lifted and disconnecting the battery for a while then try ejecting once the power is back on. Chance are though if it's been trying to read a disc for the last xx years it's FUBAR. Or there not even being a disc in is another option.
Don't forget to let the immobiliser and ignition key shake hands for a good while if you do disconnect the battery.
