Cool My New Sled

Well, the GS is no longer. I now have a 200o BMW MCoupe, and I absolutely love it. Some of you may recall a time when I almost pulled the trigger on one before.

A totally different beast than the GS. Several of the little nice-to-haves aren't there, but those are compensated by some of the other charateristics of the MCoupe.

I won't go into a huge diatribe about it. Its not a vehicle for everyone (only about 2000 were made for the MY2000), but it is the vehicle for me.

OK, time for some pics. They are as STOCK as they come

The weather has been like a tropical rain forest here since, well, the beginning of the summer, so no wash time yet.

Here are a few. The rest of the montauge can be found HERE

Those are 240 'horse stock, right? They are quick little buggers, even if they do look like a shoe !

I can see your future... coilovers, exhaust, engine upgrades, HREs with a 4" lip on the back...

Congratulations! Nice choice!

Regards,
Bob

I don't have too many things planned right now actually. I kind of went overboard modding the GS, and I'm still becoming accustomed to this rocket. Really, the things that I modded on the GS were to arrive at this point. Maybe a couple little things here and there, but nothing substantial for the near future. Its pretty great right out of the box with regard to engine, exhaust, suspension.

On other pic I wanted to include before : OEM rears are 9", so I get some OEM lippage

Way to go, dex!!!! That's a fun, fun, fun, car. Looks aren't for everyone, so hopefully you got a good deal on it!

Hopefully I'm still to get that part from your GS.

By the way, I went to a BMW autocross event this past weekend. Very very cool. You would LOVE it in your M Coupe. I posted a write-up on seloc.net
