It was a headache but I found the APPS housing connector part number I figure someone may need the part number so I hope my hard time made ur life easier
Yes, it stinks when the clip breaks off. The fun part is getting out the old pins... we've done this with one of our OCV plugs, and need to do (at least) the TPS... after 20yrs, clips start breaking off. Glad you were able to find it... we would have gone to the pick-a-part, cut off two replacements (one to destroy, to figure out how to take it apart... and one to replace)...
A side note, glad you bought genuine Toyota/Lexus parts. Our luck with aftermarket non-oem plastic parts has been terrible... we'd rather buy 20yo used parts, then new non-oem parts.
I need that one too lol. Thanks for the number. I just replaced my ocv connector. It was easy to find and cheap online. The APP is a little harder to find, kinda forgot about it. This is for the one on the firewall side of the throttle with the pedal cable running to it correct?
I went to 3 pick a part junk yards and found brittle or already broken connectors most were already cut off the wire harness then I called Lexus they said I had to buy the whole wire harness that is crazy expensive but now that I found the part number they sold it to me for about 12 bucks

I've found the "average" experience with Lexus parts counters to be... disappointing. Great if you want to get your oil changed and tires rotated, or buy an oem accessory, yet not much of an experience if ordering something odd. I've found I have to go in with a printout of the COMP page from the manual pdf file, highlight/circle the part I need, then... wait, while they try to find it.
Just about anything from under the hood can be purchased, you just have to find someone that has the inclination to help find it. To replace the radio harness, after the radio is cut/stolen, or someone does a hack-install (cutting, rather then using a Metra adapter), there was always a "radio theft harness kit". Just had to know where to look, in the fiche.
hey man what was the color order of those wires. I’ve been trying to figure it out for weeks with no help from any forum ive searched through.
I found a picture of my 02 is300 from before i started working on it. I couldnt upload that one but this is the sequence before my clip broke. Seems to be a commen problem. And thank to everyone above me who found the part i ordered it this morning.
