The proper size tire for the wheels would be 245/35/19 in front and 285/30/19 in the rear, or 245/35/19 all around.

I've been wondering about this with the MRR HR2 wheels for some time, but what is that inscription on one of the wheel spokes? I've never been able to figure it out from any of the pics I've seen of them.

All depends on the stance you are looking for. This is one of those rare instances I’m gonna say use the search option. Our tastes in fitments are going to be all across the board. Find a GS with the style you like and research what fitment they are

It says Hereborrani. The MRR HR2 is a rebrand of the Cosmic Venerdi Hereborrani CL-105.

I have had several sets of MRR wheels on my GS400 and GS300 and all have been 19X8.5/9.5 +35. I ran 235/35 front and 275/30 rear with tanabe df210 spings with no issues with rubbing. When replacing tires I tried a 245/35 and 285/30 and had rubbing issues in the rear. The fronts were fine with 245 but I had to go back to a 275 in the rear so the sidewalls didn't match. I will attach some pics if that helps...

This is with the 245 in front and 275 rear

Up close of 275 and gap with the lowering springs.

245 up front

Another side shot

You think I can run 245-40 all around instead of 35 , would their be a difference ?

1. Yes, it's a different tire size, there will be a difference. 245/40 is an inch taller.
2. Why would you want to do that? You just got told the correct sizes to run.

i know , my friend is hooking me up with a free set of tires but he only has 245/40 so I’ll just rock those for now till I’m ready to lower my car and buy the correct size tires , that’s fine ?

Technically....yes you can do that with a stock suspension. Will there be a difference....yes. First off your speedometer will be off about 4 - 5MPH at highway speeds and second your sidewalls might look strange where a 245 is about right for 8.5 where it's a bit of a stretch on a 9.5 wheel. At the end of the day, it's your car and you have to be happy with your results.

If you have free tires and you already have the wheels, just put them on and find out for yourself. We've already told you they're the wrong size and by how much.
