Default 02 Censor Bank 2 Sensor 1

I want to make sure I replace the correct one before I go underneath the hood and start yanking 02 sensors out lol. Any ideas where I might be able to find a diagram or pics or anything to figure which one is the bank 2 sensor 1?

03 Lexus Gs300
Thank you in advance!

Sure! Why don’t you place your question in Google to see what comes up? I’m sure you aren’t the first person that has asked this question.

Bank 1 is the first cylinder in the firing order (closest to the front of the motor in this case). Bank 2 is the second cylinder in the ignition firing sequence which is closer to the rear of the motor.

Sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter also known as the upstream oxygen sensor.

Yea, google pretty much answered that.

Appears on the GS3, bank-1 is the front 3-cylinders, and bank-2 is the back 3-cylinders. Both sensor-1's appear to be on the exhaust manifold, before the cat... upstream. Both sensor-2's appear to be on the flex-pipe, after the cat... downstream.

So it appears you want the front exhaust manifold's O2 sensor.

Ironic, give that on the GS4, the only O2 sensors to go bad (so far) are the downstreams.
