Default Need Differential Opinions

So the diff in my gs300 starting humming recently so I need a new one. I havent found any gs300 parts cars on any site or junk yard near me so is there any other differentials that would bolt in? I was reading possibly first gen SC300? Thanks in advance!

Differentials from the Supra auto, SC300 and GS300 are the only ones that will bolt in with no changes to the diff flange that connects to the driveshaft. The GS400, GS430, SC400, and Aristo diffs all have a larger driveshaft flanges so you'll need to swap the flange from the 300 diff to be able to bolt these in. The 4XX and Aristo diffs are also lower ratio. 3.26 and 3.76 respectively so your RPM will be lower at the same speed and the car will accelerate slightly slower. Obviously make sure you check/change the fluid after you install
