P0714 & p0715- Anyone know of an actual fix?
Alright guys another thread regarding the same issue that riddles our cars. Recently had the dreaded input speed sensor issue and replaced my fuel pump car was up and running and on my merry way.
NOW, it’s being a jerk and decided to stall out on me. Thru the p0715 code and I’m positive it’s not the fuel pump(but who knows). From what I’ve read it may be the sending unit or siphon hose in the tank maybe? Do the cars really act up this way even though the car has half a tank of fuel??
Any and all feedback is greatly appriciated.

Those are transmission codes. Has nothing to do with your fuel system. Always start by checking the fluid level (in park engine running) and its condition. Should be red, not dark or burnt smelling. If low, it can cause slipping, erratic shifts etc. I'm not gonna sugar coat it, these two codes are pretty indicative of a bad transmission. One is over temp, which means your fluid is burnt and your torque converter clutch and shift clutch packs are fried. The other has to do with input shaft speed in relation to what the computer should see. Again, torque convert not able to keep the transmission in the proper slip range and probably not locking up at cruising speeds.

Lexus Test Driver
Actually I got a P0715 code when my fuel pump went out a few years ago...I would have a fuel pressure test done. Does it stall while driving, or while stationary like a stop light? When that happens it's usually a vacuum leak. Check for cracked vacuum hoses especially if your rpms drop very low like between 400-500rpm.
