But yes, damping is key. Quality of the dampers is the majority of what you are paying for when you get better quality coilovers. That's why I always recommend saving up instead of rushing to buy something like CX Racing or Godspeed.
In the time since this thread was started, I've switched to 14k/12k Swift springs on Fortune Auto dampers, a reasonably middle-ground quality setup. I'd still recommend softer springs, like the 10/8 that BC come with or the 12/10 that Tein Flex come with, for a daily driver.
