Default Rubber mats

i see eBay has OEM mats for a little more than $100. But Anyone try these motor trend rubber mats?

I haven't tried them but I bet the mat for the back seats wouldn't fit over the trans tunnel and same for the trunk because of the lip up under the rear deck.

hmm, supposedly they can be cut to fit. But you’re saying they’re assuming a flat rear?

It looks like it in the pictures on the listing. I would spend the extra money and get something that fits exactly to the car.

So maybe get oem replacement mats with these clear protectors?

Those look like they would fit. I have also seen a GS with mats like this before. There are other listings for this type of mat as well. Brown or gray would probably be good colors since they don't show dirt.

Combine the two ideas. In Muffinizer's link, one of the color options for those Lloyd Rubbertite mats is 800-Crystal Clear. Putting those over the OEM mats would allow the OEM mats to show through below and the mats on top would have the wells to trap the water and dirt.
