Yes, it does seem hard to believe.

I have not personally inspected them but the ride on our bumpy roads is good and they would have been checked as a point of failure on the MOT test.

Both my car's rear dampers were gone at 100k miles.

These really are a high water mark in quality. Keep it, those expenses are small compared to buying/leasing new. But, keep an eye out for a newer 2GS that's had all those things recently done, it might make sense to trade. Every time I want to get a new car I just can't justify it when my old GS400 keeps driving like the day I bought it 10 years ago.

Keep it. I still have mine since 2003. People still ask if a new model Lexus 😀.
