Default electronic problems?

Hi,
I own a 2005 GS300. Sometimes it feels like the electronics go south. The gas pedal does not seem to react as it should, cruise control keeps going faster and slower around the set speed, the car is shifting gears up and down like crazy,...
When the car stood still for a few hours, or the night, all goes normal again.
anybody has experienced this?
thanks for your reply.
kind regards
luc

How many miles? It could be something as simple as a vacuum leak or if this tends to happen when your gas tank is low, it could be your fuel pump is on it's way out. Happened to me a couple years ago right around 218,000 miles.

Hi,
the car has just over 100.000miles.
there does not seem to be a coincidence with an almost empty fuel tank, i also have the habit of filling up when i get to 1/4.
the only coincidence, as weird as it is, seems to be when i pass by a certain place. Strangely it allways seems to happen after driving by that place.
kind regards
luc
