I'd say 50 is a waste of time/money - you'll barely notice it.

I have 35 and it's great (and legal in GA).

Thanks for your opinions...and I know that it isn't all that dark...but I don't want it to be. I just want to darken up the windows a little bit....not really going for privacy, more just as a look....I have nothing to hide

 

you know what works pretty cool, 35% sides AND 25% the rear!!, I've got a brand new corolla like that and it looks a lot darker than 35, yet if they test it, is just 35% <shh they can't test the rear window>, yet you can see fine at nite through the rear view mirror.. dunno why or how it works but it looks pretty cool,, ill post a pic later..

 

heres a pic of my tint. It is a titanium tint. 1(lightest)-5(limo). My fronts are a 2 and my rears are a 4.

I have 20% all the way around and I have a black interior. On my last GS (which also had a black interior), I had 35% all the way around and I felt it wasn't dark enough. But if 17% is too dark, then I would go with 35% because 50% will be too light.
