Default TTE Front Lip Redux

Preface: Pardon me for asking what has probably been asked and answered several times in the past, but I did do a search for "TTE Front Lip" before posting this message and found that the information I was looking for was either a bit dated or non-existant.

Has anyone purchased this piece recently? If so, would you mind sharing the approximate cost? Is Steve Ganz still the best source for this, especially for those on the west coast?

Finally, exactly how does the lip mount to the bumper? Is this a DIY job?

Take a look at this webpage and there are a number of aero kits for the GS.
Hope this page has the information that you need.

Hmm... I don't see anything at that site that helps me. They don't even seem to stock the TTE lip spoiler.

Can't help on buying a new one as mine's a year+ old (got it from Steve).

I would recommend letting a professional bodyshop install the lip. Not only does it need to be painted, there is a good bit of adhesive and alignment work that needs to be done. I was personally very glad I let a shop do it for me... plus they already had it to paint it.

- Kinda recently
- ~$300
- SG: Likely
- it slides over the bottom of the bumper and attaches with 2 sides tape if I remember correctly. Mine was molded in
- I would only have it done professionally at a bodyshop
