Default Need a new and additional key

ok guys when I bought my aristo swap I only got one key. The key fab itself is cracking, so I’d like to get a new one and then a spare. I saw a you tube video about buying a master key on eBay and then you do the whole open and close the door flash the lights thing to program the new keys. Has any one ever tried it? With the JDM I don’t trust the dealer and don’t want to spend the retarded price they will want to do it. If there are any other choices let me know.

What about a TIS MVCI from ebay?
Compared to the dealership, it is inexpensive.
Of course, it has to be the correct one.
Good luck. I hope this was helpful.

I’m not even sure if the rf cip matters with the JDM because my security light never blinks at all.

Amazon Amazon

I only have one key for my Lexus and used this case to replace my broken one. Its quite sturdy and the quality is pretty decent. I didn't realize the logo on the back of my old key was metal so I was able to glue it to the new case.

I’m really after a spare. My cracked on I super glued and it’s fine. Even if I do go to my local dealer I’m worried about the ecu and my tune.

I just spoke with JR for JR wiring solutions and he was nice enough to clue me in that the aristo’s don’t use the chip in there keys. So all I have to do is get one key and program the fob

USDM fobs won't work on Aristo. You'll need a JDM fob.
Switch receivers in the right side C pillar from JDM to USDM version won't work either.
Haven't been able to figure out why...

Fobs not a big deal. Have a spare key that starts the car is the real issue.
