I have a 98 gs400 I just changed all 8 coil paks and all the plugs. Drove maybe 10 min. Traction control turned itself back off and is misfiring again. I don' understand what' causing the problem. Is there a ignition control module? That might be malfunctoning?

Was this random maintenance, or were you getting codes before? If codes, which did you have? I say recheck each wire to make sure they're snapped in place correctly. I had a similar issue and found a plug sitting on the block
