Default Pulling the 1uz for a swap - What all to take from the donor car?

Ill be swapping a 1uz from a 99 GS400 into a first gen toyota RHD toyota pickup and purchased the entire car to take the engine out and related stuff from.

So far i have the engine and transmission out, along with all engine accessories and exhaust manifolds. Do i need to pull any more of the wiring harness or do i need just the engine harness? There are still both fuse boxes under the hood. Ill pull the throttle cable. Do i need any of the dash harness or any of the key immobilizer bull****? Fuel pump?

NOTE: I dont plan on running the auto with this swap, but will use the bell housing.

The rest of the car is going to scrap after i pull what i need.

Yes, you will need to pull all the immobilizer stuff and since your not going to run the auto transmission you will need some kind of transmission simulator.
I would also retain the radiator fans since space may be tight for a mechanical fan.
This link should be real helpful; https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/cor...#post-11310155
Also this is a common swap downunder using the non VVT 1uz, check out Lextreme for more resources.

I have an 85 Xtra cab I would love to put this motor in.
Good luck
What part of Texas are you in?

Im in East Bernard (about 45 miles SW of Houston). Ill pull the immobilizer stuff. I have the factory radiator and e-fans, but from my past experience, i dont see it fitting up front of a first gen truck. I plan on recessing the engine into the firewall some to gain some additional clearance up front for the radiator and fan(s). I already have a first gen with a 6.0L LS stuffed in there, but this one will be a little more complicated due to the lack of aftermarket support when compared to the LSx stuff. I want to keep this one all toyota and run some FJ80 axles.

EDIT: And thanks for the link. I looked at his thread yesterday and it has a good amount of tech in it.
