Hi my car isn’t starting when the security light is flashing, this mostly happens when it’s cold. I’m not sure how more else on how to explain this more than I just did but I took a video in case I didn’t make any sense and maybe visuals can help and hopefully you can too 😊

You can see the lights flashing and hear the key turning but no start of the engine

Your key may not be communicating to the amplifier module correctly to give the ok to start the engine. Have you got another key you can try?

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 1 minute and press on the brakes. After this, put the terminal back on and lock all you doors using the arm button on the transmitter and then unlock your doors by pressing the disarm button and then open your drivers door and and the close it then try your key again in the ignition barrel. It may just need to go through a arm/disarm cycle.
If that doesn't work, try and re-program your key manually by following the programming procedure. The key programming procedure is somewhere on this forum.

Another thing would be to scan your car to see what codes come with the immobilizer system.
With it not working sometimes when its cold could mean one of the components is starting to fail or there is a bad connection to one or more components that needs cleaning / repairing.
