I just had the same problem, since my master key was falling apart.
You need a master key to program another key! If you only have a valet key, it will not work. You can distinguish them by the behaviour of the security led.
I ordered a key from keydiy on aliexpress, you can choose whatever model you like most and then program it with the appropriate android app and cable (i paid 30$ for 2 keys and the cable).
then you get your car in programming mode and add the key. for the engine start you need a transponder that you then trow in the car and also then copy it from your master key. i ordered that from ebay for 7$.
