Default What the deal?! Car wont start until buzzing noise goes away?

Hey guys - I've noticed on some days my car wont start unless I wait for this slight buzzing noise goes away. It seems to be coming from underneath the steering wheel area, but it's so slight that I'm not real sure. This only happens on some days. Have you guys heard of this problem before?

Could it be the Buzz you get when you're braking? I normally get a Buzzing sound from behind the steering column/under the bonnet when I brake...if that's the case I'm sure it's something to do with the Brake Booster or something or the other related to braking.

Maybe your fuel pump? I know it makes a whining/buzzing sound. A dying fuel pump is pretty noisy. Obviously the car won't start until the pump gets fuel into the engine. So this might be your cause, but you should hope not since it's a bit expensive to replace.

Just a wild guess..
What is the condition of the key battery ... in case the imobilizer is not syncing up.

I'm having this issue right now. Has anyone found out of it's the fuel pump on its way out?

Need some more info. As asked above (10 years ago), what is it actually doing when you turn the key? Does it crank, or does it do nothing at all?
