Default 2000 GS400 advice please

I am looking to buy a BLUE 2000 GS400 with Nav , 17' wheels and Spoiler with 51000 miles on it...
They are asking for $29K.

Is this a fair deal? The paint good has some rock chips on it. It is not Lexus certified. Carfax it and it was clean. 1 owner from florida.

I am scared since I am not dealing with an LExus dealer. It is just an dealer of used BMW , Mercedes, and Lexus.

Please give me your input !!

Have anyone brought an used GS from an dealer that is not LEXUS?

I just checked autotrader.com for 2000 GS400 in all areas and found numerous GS400s under $29K with less mileage (ie 29K , 36K, 39K miles). I found my GS400 under 27K miles on autotrader.com earlier this year and bought it from an used car dealer out of state. I checked it on carfax, autocheck before I bought it. It has a few door dings and chips but I paid thousands less than buying from a Lexus dealer. I figured I can get PDR to repair these dings and still save thousands. The Lexus dealers in my areas had GS400 with 25K more miles and still want thousands more than the non-Lexus dealer. Have fun finding your GS400.

Thanks for the replys guys...

I did a search in AUTOTRADER also but found a lot of listings without price. What is up with that?

What If I can get the dealer (non-lexus) to bring the price down to like $27K?

I really want a Blue one and its very hard to find... Are the original tires from Bridgestone?

If you use Advanced search at autotrader then you can select the color, cars with prices only etc...
My search only found one blue GS400 with prices under $29K. If you want a specific color, low mileage, right price,.... you may have to be patience.

Hey if u like a specific color and the car looks good, and ur convinced its u then buy it! Remember when buying a used car its hard 2 find the color u want...If it is a 2000 with navigation, and 17in get it! dont worry about shopping around too much, its good 2 shop around but trust me u snooze u lose, and dont get caught up on the oem tires, if the its that serious u can order some ffrom discount tire direct....1

gs400998,

You found the one that I am looking to buy
Thanks for everyone's advice. I was going to lease it but it is very expensive... They wanted $550 / month for 39 months with nothing down.

Angelslex,
