hi everyone
my 02 gs300 has a weird issue. It unlocks the drivers door with the remote and after you press it again it unlocks all the other doors, so far pretty normal. But when I lock the car, 3 doors lock and the drivers door stays unlocked, you can actually hear the car attempt to lock it again a second time but nothing happens and I have to insert the key to lock. It's as if it's jammed in the unlock position but inserting the key solves that problem.
To summarise:
the drivers door doesn't lock with the remote but everything else both locks and unlocks with the remote.
Any ideas appreciated

 

Your door actuator has failed. You can change out the $5 motor to get it to work again. There are a few threads that discuss this.
