Default Door locking and Key Problem......Any help appreciated

Ok i have a problem with my 01 GS300. The remote won't lock or unlock the passenger front door. It will work fine on all the other doors, but when i click the lock/unlock button on the key, all doors will either lock or unlock except for the passenger front door. Also when i try to lock the doors via the remote it will not lock any of the doors if the passenger one is left unlocked, so i will have to lock that door manually to lock all the other doors with the remote.

Is something broken in there, anyone have an idea of what i might need to do to fix this?

Vinh, when did you get a GS? The door lock actuator is out. It can be a very expensive fix from the dealer, but some members on here found a very cheap fix. I'd search for you but I'm lazy.

Damn it, that's what i was afraid of. The DIY looks like a pain in the ***. It's not my GS it's a buddy of mines. Dude, i have Lmoney408's scara's sitting in my backyard right now. If i mount them just for fun, lets do a photoshoot!!

Yep, it's the actuator, there is a very well written DIY in the DIY Section.

The exact same problem happened to my GS400 today. figured it would be the door lock actuator. I'm gonna ring Sewell in the AM for a parts quote. I've got a mechanic here in Atlanta to work on it.

For now the only way to lock the door is to do it manually. I guess I'll be using the back door until I can get this fixed.

Just bought a Mabuchi Motor part number FC 280PT 22125 off ebay for $25. Turns out the motor is all you need based on the DIY thread I was reading.
