Hi i got a gs300 for a steal bc the guy who owned it couldnt get the odo and spedo and the door ajar light off. The only one i care about right now is the door ajar light. Now my light dosnt stay on when the car is off nor do my interior lights not shut off driveing or off completly. Dont no about the key fob dnt have one. I use the all lock and unlock with the driver door and all locks lock. I just hate the dam beep mostly happens coming to a stop though if anyone has some a solution or same problem thank you.

Arm yourself with the wiring diagram and start tracing all 5 sources [each door + 1 trunk]. Vehicles in late 80's started showing which door is open, but not in Lexus. You have to check each at the ecu and work your way back. Note unlike many other cars, there is no switch in the door jamb for recognizing the door is not fully shut. The mechanism is built into door lock actuator.

Having only 1 master key is very dangerous. Please make sure you have a master key and you need to register a second master key, else you will have a very large brick to deal with.
