Default Rear Ride Height Sensor Removal

So the headlights on my GS430 have been getting worse lately. When I'm stopped, they will jitter on me (i.e. I can see the beam slowly moving up and down on the car in front of me when I'm at a dead stop). The leveler warning light on the dash will come on briefly now every few days. I haven't found any reference to this particular issue online (mainly issues seem to be with dropping the car unevenly), but based on some posts on the IS forums about corrosion in the sensors and my experience with the jittery A/C actuators in our cars, I think the sensor just needs some cleaning.

Anyone have any idea how to remove the rear sensor? I was expecting to have to remove the two bolts that keep the bracket to the frame, one bolt for the arm, then a plug on the sensor. The problem is, I don't see a plug on the sensor. The wire seems to run up into the body of the sensor, and I can't find a break anywhere on the line before it goes up into the trunk. Every reference picture I see online for these has a connector plug at the bottom of the sensor. I've found plenty of guides for the IS, GX and 3rd gen GS, but nothing for 2nd gen GS.

I can take a picture of what I'm running into tomorrow when I lift the car back up. Option 2, I'll just disconnect the leveling computer and leave the whole system off....

Alright, found some stock images to describe what I'm looking at.

Here's the style of sensor that other Lexus cars seem to use. See the nice and easy connector plug at the bottom and four screws to open up the housing.

And here is one for the GS430, seems to be no connector plug and no screws to open up the housing.

From what I can tell from the Lexus parts diagrams, I think the connector might be in the trunk....

Where you able to fix the problem by replacing the part or is it something else? Thanks

The harness is ran into the trunk, you would have to rip out your trunk liner to get to the harness.
