I've seen on ebay these chrome inserts that go over the grill to give it the chrome look. They attach with some double-sided taped and sell for about $35. Has any had any experience with these and was it worth the money? Does it look better than the chrome underneath the stock grill? Any response is greatly appreciated.

I've seen the real chrome front grill in person. IMO, it does look better than stock one.

Have you tried taking the paint off so you can see the chrome under the pain? There a write up in the library to show you how. I did it to mine and it came out a lot better then the stock look. Try it before you buy a new one. If you don't like the look well your were looking for a new one anyway. Good luck

 

just do it your self. check your DIY section it took me about a week but I think it came out pretty good . p.s if you want just use steelwool , i don't remember the name but it looks like brillo pads but they are not , they great they remove the gray stuff on the grill but not the chrome.
