Dash-board help (mostly)
Hi CL!
I got my car running again after 6 months of sitting in an underground parking garage, and finally got it in to the shop for some much-needed maintenance. I have a few questions and I was hoping the CL community would be able to chime in on.
1) The LCD radio screen is dog's bollocks. It displays a random assortment of partial numbers that may flash on/off when they feel like it. My mechanic mentioned that this problem had been covered in detail on this forum, but I've had little success finding it. Could someone point me in the right direction?
2) The outside temperature display on the dash will always read something like 30C below the actual outside temperature. Is there a fix for this while I've got the radio out to fix problem 1?
3) I'm looking for other parts that you've found are common failures so that I can nip 'em in the bud before they become a big issue.
