Default Telescoping steering wheel

Hey guys I'm having trouble with my gs300, when I got the car, the steering wheel would not adjust, then when I was installing my stereo and I disconnected the battery and put it back in and it was working again even popped back up when I would take the key out for that day then the next day it stopped again and it sounds like it's not getting enough power to it or something. If anyone else has had this experience I would really appriciate your help.

Same thing happened to me you will need to take the tilt motor out and grease it. There is a sticky on the site. Mine worked for a while but now just goes in/out but not up/down. Since it's fixed in place where I want it I don't worry about it much anymore. The dealer wanted $600 I think to fix it! No thanks.

Hi all, it's been quite awhile since I've been here. I'll get straight to the point. Today I installed a new amp in my 98 gas 400. I had the battery post disconnected the whole time. When I reconnected it and started adjusting the amp and music settings. Everything worked fine. Then I started the car to go for a drive and noticed the steering wheel did not move. I think maybe I blew a fuse, but I have checked every fuse in the car. Am I missing something? Everything thing else on the car works except the telescopic steering. Does anyone know of any fuse locations that I may be missing or a easy solution to my problem? Thanks for any assistance.
