Hi everyone new to the group just got a Forrest green gs400 w/ a blown motor, old owner said it jumped timing and had 0psi in a comp. test getting a new engine tomorrow interior is kinda rough tan colored not sure if I'm gonna keep it tan or swap out for black
Might be interested in buying the leather cover off one of the front seats from you if they're in good condition. Held on by clips and would be easier/cheaper to ship than the whole assembly. I know you said they're rough, but could you post some pics?
welcome to the group.how much did that go for with a blown motor? go with Saddle interior
I agree the saddle interior would look awesome with the green exterior. Also, don't forget to check your suspension components like ball joints and caster arm bushings before you put it back on the road. You know, the usual GS problem areas.
Other than that let us know when you have it up and running.

I got the car for 700 & bought a used engine for 500, I am currently rebuilding the the engine, changed valve sealso, valve covers, spark plugs timing belt water pump revealed upper and lower pans changed the timing belt tensioner, cleaned up my intake runners, changed my cam main and rear main seals I did not separate the block tho
Looking forward to seeing the final pics! These cars run forever anyway, and with the changes you're making you won't have an issue for a long, long time.
Just finished taking the engine out, I'm swapping a couple things over, and should go back in tomorrow, still have other small stuff to finish besides the engine
