Firts, if you have shifter buttons, when you put you car in drive (D) next to it your have a (M) change it to that and that is for manual or to use your shifter buttons.
Second, Shifter button is more for use when you want to shift the gears be you own or to race LOL. If you have stock engine and cero modificacion, you can use it and change your gears every 6,000 or 6,200 rpm when you racing. But if you want to use it just for fund. You can change it when you fill that is time to change. Also, is your turn the power button ON and the VSC OFF you get better respond when you take off when you start from 0.
