@Robles84. Have you finished your install yet? Also if i may suggest...you should do 6.5 in front and stick to 4 in rear. This would be better for a fuller Soundstage.

I 2nd this unless you plan to be in the back seat listening to your system ALL the time, then 6.5" fronts would be much better!

Im about to do this this coming weekend. I'll see if I have some clearance issues with the factory bracket/box modified to fit a larger woofer (The comp set ill be using will be these Hybrid Audio Unity). In case I do, and I have done this with my previous GS430, I just cut away the back portion of the factory bracket since most mid bass drivers are perfectly fine free-air. I'll see if I can post pics of the install and any issues/snags I will encounter.

Mike

Agree 110% to put more if not all your money and effort into the front speakers, I haven't had rear speakers in a car in 15 years and have never missed them. You want the music to be coming from in front of you like a stage.

Facebook link wasnt working for me...so i wasnt able to see your pics.
Also, good deal on the adapters you posted. Im sure it was just a *typo when you said MDF bracket..because the linked units seems to be machined pvc. (superior to mdf likely anyhow)

i am pretty sure they are MDF, and not pvc. either way they have been in the car for 3 years now and I have no complaints. My install pictures are also here (fronts) -> http://www.speaker-installation-photos.com/Lexus/GS/GS-12/

and here (rears) -> http://www.speaker-installation-phot...exus/GS/GS-13/
