Been in awhile since i posted.. Looking at set of wheels that i may run 5mm slip on disk style spacers to get them closer to flush. Will i get any unwanted vibrations? Never ran spacers before.. thanks

 

Not if torqued to spec and they fit correctly and center

 

I never trusted those types. Known pleaty of people that ran them for inner clearance without issues though.
I've always ran spacers that bolt onto the hub and are wheel centric. H&R calls them their DRA series, adapters from Adaptec are the same way. That extra little lip centered in the center bore of the wheel gives me peace of mind. Only down side I guess is they arent offered in that application smaller than ~ 20mm

 

thans guys.. there was a thread not to long ago that you could buy a set from 5 to 25 etc... I heard anything really over 5mm you should have studs... I should be ok without studs... Need a good brand though,,,

also the spacer needs a lip on it to fit the hub ring for the wheel correct? Where can i get such spacer?

 

I ran 5mm for a little while, seemed to have no issue. Tried 8mm but studs weren't long enough :P

Was just a stock set up with a 5mm slip on spacers. Not ideal but it didn't give me any issue

 

Hit up stancenation and order some 326 power or try central pine and get tdemand if you want the best of the best

A good set of hubcentric spacers will be all you need. 5mm is about all you can do on stock studs for sure.
