Hi everyone, first time poster, long time reader, but desperately in need of help right now! Just bought a used 98 GS400 about 2 months ago and the power steering went out, we took the pump out to replace it and absolutely can not get the old solenoid off the pump and none of the ones we've looked at in stores/online come with one attached. I'd have no issue purchasing this part brand new thru Lexus if it just wasn't a $500++ part! Does anyone know where you can buy a new pump WITH one attached, or at least buy the solenoid without having to drop so much cash on it?? We've already put a ton of money into this car in the short time we've owned it and I'm feeling completely defeated at this point! Any help or suggestions are absolutely appreciated, because I have no clue where else to look at this point. Thanks.
