Default Tranny Fluid Line Identification Needed

Gonna do the flush and fill method on my tranny.
Can anyone tell me which line is the supply vs the return line?

Thanks in advance.

If that is a GS300 I can't tell you, on the GS430 it is located further back and the drain bolt is all alone on the bottom of the transmission, you can't miss it. I just filled the transmission fluid through the dipstick hole, it is pretty easy to just fill it in the dipstick hole on the GS430 unlike some other cars. It is a good idea to just measure exactly how much transmission fluid drained out and then fill up with that exact same amount. I found with my GS430 it is very difficult to get a accurate reading from the dipstick as the stick has too far to go and provides too much resistance at a odd angle to push all the way down into the transmission which means too much fluid is going to get smeared/rubbed off as it is being pulled out.

Thanks. It's a GS400 (probably the best of all on the road I think - ha-ha) .
I've always done the traditional drain and fill method. However I think I'd get more of the old fluid out using the flush and fill method.

Be careful, I have heard flushes can have some negative results and it is safer just to do the 3 drain and fills.

This isn't a flush done by a machine so it's completely safe. All that is done is replacing with new fluid after old fluid is pumped out.

As long as you drain pan, add ATF to full and then drain 2 qts...stop engine...add 2 qts and then repeat until fluid comes out clean there is no harm that will be done.
