Default Weird issues with the GS

Lately, my car has been having very weird control issues.

One of the problems is that when I hit a hard bump or something my traction light flashes and beeps, the other one is sometimes when I activate the cruise control switch, the cruise control light comes on but doesn't activate.

Sounds like maybe a loose connection, check your battery terminals. Check your connections at the alternator.

Really appreciate the help you guys, I'll check it out! If it isn't the alternator, do you guys have any idea what else it could be?

Do you know how to properly set cruise control? Forgive me if I offend you by asking this but many seem to not know how to set it. Simply pressing the cruise control button will not set cruise control. Try pressing in the cruise control button, holding the botton down, then as your holding it down you simultaneously push the cruise control "tree" or "joy stick" for lack of a better term, down, then release the botton and allow the stick to go back to center, where I, then immediately push it up to feel for acceleration from there you should feel the cruise control take over and accelerate.

Or you can also push the button, keeping steady on the pedal, then hit up on the stick and releasing your foot off the pedal to see if it goes forth with accelerating for you.

Now the beeping coming on after hitting a SEVERE bump I would actually expect and wouldnt find abnormal as the sensors may just being tripped into thinking you have had a loss of traction with a short and temp. Limp mode. Is this sound like your particular circumstance or am I just repeating what you already know? Which I apologize if im questioning your familiarity with your vehicle .
