Question. I just drove from Dallas to Houston for the day and I just got code p0171 lean bank 1. Could it be my maf sensor. I just got this code. What were y'all experience.
Yea, could be the maf. Also, check and see if there are any cracks in the intake tube between the maf and the throttle body. I'm finding that this is becoming common. A crack or hole in the tube after the maf can cause a lean code as well.

Take out the maf and do a good cleaning for safe measures. You can also YouTube and watch a maf cleaning video.
