That is the door multiplex computer.
Edit: It basically controls all of the door functions. Mine went out on the driverside so I temporarily replaced it with the passenger front. My window worked, but I couldn't control the others with my master switch. It also reverses the side mirror adjustment. R will be L and L will be R lol. Door locks didn't seem to be affected like the side mirror adjustment
