Default Chroming side view mirrors?

Anyone ever think of chroming their side view mirrors? Next thing to do to my GS is painting it and getting some new wheels and tires for it. But just curious to see if anyone has chromed their side view mirrors? Preferably on a black gs.
Got the idea while watching one of the transporter movies (One of my favorite series of movies)
here's a couple pics, I think with the wheels I wanna grab it would compliment them quite nicely (Lumarai Kya- Gloss black with a mirror lip)

Whatcha think?

I've seen the chrome mirror housings on YAJ, not sure how trying to do the actual chroming process would work on plastic mirrors... I'm thinking they'd melt or deform.

Thanks. I bought them off another member many years ago. It looked like it was sprayed chrome like that MonsterWire R8. Looks like chrome yet not chrome enough for me lol. I'll re do them down the road. For now it's fine.

Oh hey, from west coast customs! Hmmm I'll have to get in touch with the body shop to see if they carry a good chrome color, most of the spray on chrome I've seen just looks like silver but with more mettalic flakes in it, but yours looks like real chrome, nice touch imho.
thanks for the info

you could have some one wrap them chrome, or black too. i think chrome vinyl looks a lot better than spray chrome. when i first bought my GS i wrapped the trunk lid until i bought a chrome bar you couldn't tell a difference. plus then its easily removable too

That's a fantastic idea! I think I might just check that out, I completely forgot about chrome vinyl. Gonna see about going and ordering some now lol.
