Your are yellow and you want to make clear ones? Or you just want to change to HID? The HID Kit fit perfect on it with any modification. But if you want to change to clears ones, my recomendation is buy a clear one. Is more easy that way.

I chipped my yellow capsules out with a screw driver. Needle nose pliers to pull the oblong shards out, shook the other ones out with the fog light upside down.

making them clear isnt that hard

but if youre trying to put projectors in there and you want to open up that glass...let me know how you did it. cause i tried heating it up and it didnt open. i'd love to stick dual projectors in there (wish i could find those lx fogs)

Default Fog light help

The only bad part about trying to stick projectors in the housing is the front glass. It would break up most of the light and I don't think the projectors would do much. That's why everyone makes their own housing to stick in the bumper for dual fogs.

I have regular halogen bulbs in there... However the light isn't fully projected because the assembly has a metal shield that redirects the light ... I'd like to get the housing open to gain access to the piece of metal without actually damaging the assembly

Look for the instructions on luxury mods site for baking your headlights open. Same thing for baking your fogs open to access the reflectors.
