what is the book value for this car? if you get it 2k or something below the book value , then you get a good deal

try www.kbb.com
www.edmund.com
yet, what do they say as the value for this car.

I know alot of GS owners only drive their gs around 9K miles a year, so your 430 is a bit high, but not too high,I think just a bit above average. I've been drving my car for too long, i have no clue what the value for these car now. sorry i can't help much more.

Default Quick..Help I Need To Make A Decision Now!!

Please go the website..http://www.autotrader.com and compare the cars in your zip code, and then slowly branch out and check the country as a whole. One thing is certain, you will pay more for your Lexus at a Lexus dealer..especially if it is a certified car.

I am not impressed with the certified program as I have seen some poor examples in my experience. Do your homework and for the best deals monetarily buy from someplace other than a Lexus dealer. If you MUST buy from dealer because you have found the car of your dreams, be relentless. Every store has a bottom line they have to make on a specific car. Anything they make above that is pure profit. They like to sell value and therefore command higher prices. try to get it as low as possible.

Good luck,

why is such a new car back in the dealer lot? find that out and I think you can make a better decision. if the person just couldn't afford it, take it!

As stated above reasearch, research, reasearch. Have you seen the car on the lot for a while usually dealers like to "turn" cars every 30(approx.) days. If it is new to the lot don't expect to "steal" the car. You can normally get better deals towards the end of the month when they are pushing to close deals to make their sales department look better.
The last car I purchased (Acura RL) was a CPO and like stated above that doesn't mean a whole lot. I walked around the car at night "eyed" the sides of the car for previous damage and it looked fine. I watched it for about a mounth or so and decided to go buy it. It was the sales managers own car and I felt confident with the deal. I have never test drove any car that I purchased ( big mistake ). Turned out that right before I bought it it had been in a accident (about a month after I walked around it) and repaired fairly well (took me a week to notice). Ended up having a horrible suspension problem that I couldn't get the dealer to acknowledge. The car has even spun out on me.
I really started looking for a used GS400 and after the last car, I really started thinking about what I wanted, and how long I was going to keep it, so I ended up ordering a new GS300, which ship showed up at the dock today with it and I can't wait to get it.
Good Luck on your decision.

Talking

Mileage a little high, price is OK, esp considering it is CPO (which doesn't necessarily mean that much, but for which the dealer will charge a bit more - see woodyaht's horror story). Have the dealer pull the service history (although this will only tell you what was done at Lexus dealerships) and run Carfax, if possible.

Otherwise, it sounds a great deal like my 430. If you buy it, L-Tune the suspension first thing unless you plan coilovers..........

Good luck!!
