Default Gen5 Navigation Upgrade is it Possible

I've searched and I can not find a definite answer, is it possible to upgrade the Navigation ECU in the 2nd Gen GS. I know that you use the Gen4 (other members are using Gen4 ECUs), but has anyone done a Gen5 Upgrade.

I heard gen 5 isn't possible. I have gen 4 in and the only differences I noticed was a different color UI and some extra options and streets. I only upgraded because my stock HD laser went out. Replaced it and just went ahead and left it in the garage

Thank you, can anyone else shed some light here on this I'm sure that there are a lot of 2nd Gen GS owners that would love to have a Gen5 Navigation ECU. What exactly changes on the Gen5 ECU in regards to plug sets?

Maybe someone like Lexusaudio can help out answering this question.

I assume you're not referring to a gen5 disc?

No not the disc, what I'm looking for someone to answer is can the Gen5 Navigation ECU be used (is it plug and play) or is some type of harness rebuilding or repining needed. What I want to know is can we get the user interface on a 2nd Gen GS.

When I installed my 4th gen HD I noticed that the attenna needed to reach over to be plugged in. I'm assuming the 5th gen has the same issue. But mines is working perfectly fine. Got mines from a sc430. Prius works too
